n 11 both bright and dramatic movements, the fairy-tale music of Humperdinck becomes alive. Again and again the players first realize - "I know that!" - and then - "I can do that!" This new arrangement proves playing together is fun!

Up to six different wind players (flute, oboe or 2nd flute, clarinet, trumpet or 2nd clarinet, French horn or alto saxophone, bassoon or trombone) and one bass drum may complement the strings. In two very simples numbers (Suse, liebe Suse and Ein Männlein steht im Walde) recorders and guitar can also perform. The Children's Prayer may include a choral group.

We presented your orchestra suite Hänsel and Gretel as arranged by Gerhard Buchner. It was a big success and well received. The degree of difficulty casting fit our school orchestra perfectly.
